Iced Saffron Oatmilk Chai

Ingredients

Kolkata Chai Mix x Diaspora Co Saffron Chai Mix (6 tsp or 12 g)

Water (2 cup or 16 fl oz)

Ice

Milk (whole, oat milk or almond milk)

Sugar or Sweetener

Fine Mesh Strainer

Instructions

1. Bring 2 cups (16 oz) water to simmer in a pot 

2. Add 6 tsp (~12 g) chai & spice mix

3. Rolling boil brew for 3 mins

4. Add 2 cups (16 oz) milk of your choice (whole, oat, etc)

5. Bring to boil and turn off heat

6. Cover the pot and steep for 3 mins

7. Strain into a container/cup and add sugar as needed

8. Sprinkle a small pinch (3-4 strands) of Diaspora Co Kashmiri saffron

9. Wait 5-10 mins for the chai to cool down and then refrigerate 

10. Serve the cooled chai over ice and enjoy!
