Doodh Patti Chai


2 Cups of Chai


15 minutes


  1. 1. 2 cups of milk

  2. 2. Evaporated milk

  3. 3. 2-3 tsp Kolkata Chai DIY Chai Kit

  4. 4. Pinch of salt


  1. 1. Handful of pistachios and almonds

  2. 2. Dollop of whipped cream

  3. 3. Sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin spice


  1. 1. Heat up two cups of milk. Add a splash of evaporated milk for extra creaminess
  2. 2. Add in 2-3 tsp of Kolkata Chai DIY Kit (or as much as you would like)

  3. 3. Sprinkle in a pinch of salt

  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil. Once at a boil, turn the heat low and let simmer for a few minutes

  5. 5. Boil again at medium heat for around 1 min

  6. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 as many times as you'd like to get a stronger taste

  7. 7. Strain and aerate your chai

  8. 8. Crush up pistachios or almonds to add to the top of your chai

  9. 9. Add a dollop of fresh whipped cream, crushed nuts and a dash of cinnamon or even pumpkin spice to top it off!
