Somewhere between your kitchen and the drive-thru window, chai stopped being chai.
Now it's syrups, powders and a lot of artificial flavors. We grew up on the real thing: strong black tea and hand-ground spices, steeped slowly with no shortcuts. So we found a way to share it with you. No artificial flavors, no 20-ingredient syrup base, no sugar bomb. Just chai the way it's supposed to taste.

Sugar first, spice as an afterthought and artificial flavoring doing the work that real cardamom and ginger should be doing. We grew up watching our families make chai the real way, with no shortcuts or syrups, and watched the chain version take over anyway. So we started selling the actual recipe. WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR TEA FROM?
Our tea is currently sourced from a small farm in Assam, India and naturally processed using the "CTC" method. This estate is certified bio-organic, Fair Trade and UTZ certified. Our decaf tea is also CTC but sourced from a different farm.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
Black Assam tea, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper. We only use natural ingredients from the earth for a a balanced, robust cup of chai every time.
HOW LONG DOES IT STAY FRESH?
Our Chai Mixes stays fresh in its package for 12 months. You can place it in your cupboard just as you would your coffee beans. You can store chai (after it's made) in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat it in the microwave or stovetop before serving or pour cold chai over ice.
